This bed is ok… very lightweight material not as heavy duty as stated. Went together ok my husband is a pro at putting stuff together. The paint on the drawers vs body is a different color more grayish. The thing I’m most concerned about is the odor of the paint or wood very strong and not pleasant. Smells similar to mothballs but not as sweet we are hoping with ceiling fan running and airing it out it will get better. I’ve sprayed room twice with Lysol and Febreze. Time will tell. The trundle bed concept is perfect where we want to use it. We bought an 8” mattress for lower because questions stated it would work… it does barely, drags some as pushing away. You will not be able to have a blanket on, but we are fine with that. The trundle bed is not connected to the upper bed so you can easily lift the top bed up to push trundle under. It’s nice we can pull the trundle bed out away from top bed so upper person will not need to step on lower bed to get off of the upper bed. For light use this is a good choice. Not sure about daily use. Possibly ok for a child.
