I did not use the 3M strips included with this item. Also, I wish I would have known beforehand that the item itself is plastic. That was surprising. I wish it was of durable metal. The item description says "Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, Metal" so I thought the majority of the tray was metal. The only metal on the tray itself is the screws. I feel like this is misleading. They are cheaply priced, however now I know why. I should have saved up for an all metal one, maybe a little bit longer too.For the price, this is a nice under-desk cable organizer. The color and size are the perfect complement to a small to medium size desk, and overall this was a good purchaseThat said, there are a few caveats. As you can see from the picture, the adhesive that comes with this product is not very strong; it lasted less than a month before it started to peel off for me. I have some spare Dual Lock I'm going to try, which I think will do a better job than the adhesive that came with this product, so I think the situation is salvageable. On a final note, keep in mind that this is a small plastic cable manager. I've been using it to hold the power adapter for my laptop, and it visibly bends under the weight. I wouldn't feel comfortable using it for much more weight than that. This was the least expensive option I could find to hold my power cord for my laptop under my table that I also didn't have to drill holes in order to install it, so I gave it a try. Unfortunately it only lasted a few days before the adhesive could no longer hold the weight so I'll be drilling holes anyway. I'm over it though because it was still inexpensive and keeps the cord out of sight.I use this cable management system to store an electric outlet strip under my desk. Once in a while one of the plastic rods pop out and the unit dangles from the other rod. I’m sure I can fix it with some tape if I have to. I like that I could glue it underneath the table and didn’t have to drill any holes. Another advantage is that everything is easily accessible. The connection between the stick and the part you screw into broke, so I had to use some silicon and glue to refasten it. Otherwise it looks nice. I spray painted mine gold and it looks good for the price. My little mobile desk addition is working hard to keep my desk looking neater and carrying the Edith of 3 power adapters.Surprisingly sturdy and stayed in place even after I moved it.Has a little bit of wobble from the fittings not being quite the perfect fit. Does what it is intended to do.Works great for cord management, came with mounting hardware. We did have to use the screws instead of the 3M adhesive, but that may be due to the weight of the power strip I use.Los materiales no son de primera pero hace el trabajoNo es el mejor, por el precio esperaba algo más resistenteIt’s weak plastic
