Came with all parts that were clearly labeled and well organized in the box. Instructions were very clear and I actually enjoyed putting it together. All parts were pressed metal (possibly steel) formed with point tack welds along the seams (except for the desktop and shelves, which were plywood skinned in carbon fiber looking laminate) making it feel pretty solid and stable. The tools needed to build it were also included.
