Me and my sister were separating rooms and I needed a smaller desk to fit the space. Trying to find one with a hutch/drawers that wasn't only like a foot wide was surprisingly difficult. I found the perfect one ages ago but it went out of stock when covid hit and I haven't been able to find it since. This was as close to that desk as I could get but that being said its not quite what I wanted. Its an awkward height that too high to sit/write at but too low to stand in front of. I took the feet off to make it more comfortable but I still need to have my chair at its max height. The drawers are pretty shallow, about 2 5/8in high. The drawer rails pull apart, one piece needs to be screwed on to the drawer before you can put it in. You can't screw the drawers into the railing while its in the desk, the holes will never line up.It comes with a little rolley board to put your pc on the floor but mine is slightly too long. The feet would still all fit but I'm a bit iffy about putting my tower on there yet. The desk doesn't feel like it'll fall apart with a push, but even with stuff on it it wobbles if you shake it. I definitely wouldn't sit on it. Use a drill or an electric screw driver to put it together, it'll go a lot faster. You need a hex bit. You kinda need it for the hutch part cuz you have to have someone hold it up while its being screwed in and each side needs 3 screws. Try to lie it down if you're building alone. Its not a terrible desk, its just a little awkward.My 14 year old put this desk together mostly all by himself. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because there was one board with a screw that was to short. We managed to make it work and, hopefully, it will stay together. It’s been a few months and so far so good.Easy to assemble. Good quality.
