This does not fold. Perfect size to hold my magnifying lamp, scissors & cross stitch project. Would definitely recommend.This laptop desk looks great, has comfortable beanbag padding underneath for the legs, foam padding for wrist elevation to prevent carpal tunnel and items sliding off into your lap. The carry handle works as does the device slot. It looks as good as the picture IRL.I got 2 of these lap desks for a summer roadtrip so my kids could use them to draw and see their devices hands free for visual references and movie watching. Then this will also of course make an excellent writing and laptop desk for them.The build quality seems worth the price.
