This desk unit meets my needs at a modest price. I read at least 30 reviews - half 1-3 stars and half 4-5 stars.1. The product arrived with good packaging protection and no defects.2. The materials match the price.3. Assembly directions were clear and, if followed precisely, should be easy for anyone.4. There were spare mounting bolts of all three sizes.5. Several buyers complained about the thin gauge of the metal frame, which will compress/deform if the bolts are over-tightened. I snugged the bolts to the point of the minutest amount of compression. Do not overtighten. Thicker steel frame/legs would cost more but would make disassembly and moving easier.4. The Allen wrench was adequate for assembly. Some buyers reported negative comments concerning using this tool. First, finger-tighten all bolts to reduce the number of additional turns to snug the bolt. Of course, you can use a screwdriver/power drill with an Allen wrench tip or adapter. If you use a power drill, be careful not to over-torque, which could strip the inserts on the desktop or compress the frame/legs.5. Tip: Unless you are flexible and agile, place the desk top pieces upside down on the floor (rug or sheet to protect the finish) and attach the assembled frame. When secure, then with help, flip the unit over. Fasting the screws this way was much easier than getting under the table.6. The desk is sturdy. It barely moves when pushing on the top edge. I did not need to use the adjusters.7. The desktop is narrow, which I knew when I purchased it. The l-shape desktop fits a corner well. The desk design does not allow swapping the short side from left to right.8. My desk has an HP All-In-One printer, 12" laminator, 14" laptop, stacking letter trays, pen-pencil holder/stapler, tape dispenser, and accessory hub. I still have 24" of unobstructed space for a writing pad or section of vertical books.9. I bought a modestly priced computer chair, making this "office" desk much more comfortable and functional.10. For me, this unit is just fine and recommended.I was nervous because I've never bought a desk before. This was hard to put together, so I had my brother help. As long as you put effort into it and take your time (and adjust the raising/lowing buttons on the bottom to make it sturdy), the desk is very sturdy. It is longer than I expected, but I'm fine with that! I think the negative reviews are just from people that assembled it wrong. Definitely buy this desk! Worth the money!Looks nice and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. Was able to assemble without a second person to help.My only complaint is that a two of the holes meant for securing the wood tops to the metal legs did not line up as they should. Had to use one of my own power tools and will be inconvenient for those who may not have a tool on hand to help them.A good table if you're able to overcome that hurdle though!This is the second purchase by this company. (Didn’t realize it at the time of purchase)! Exactly what we wanted for my daughters room. One side makeup. The other sewing. It took me by myself a few hours to put together. Directions could have been a little better but I figured it out. Hardest part was securing the top on from underneath! Took a breath…and a small break and went back at it. Finally got it! No damage whatsoever. Both items from this company were packaged well. No missing or damaged pieces.I’ve had this desk for 2 years now and it still is holding up strong. I am a ft work from home so it gets used. Easy to assemble and looks great.Fits in my corner space perfectly and was easy to assemble. Great quality too!Fast delivery. No chips or breaks. I am very pleased!came in good condition, no broken partshad it for almost a year now and so far its greatdoesnt shake and it is sturdyEl articulo llego mucho antes del tiempo pero no se pusieron en contacto ni avisaron, por suerte yo me encontraba en casa cuando llego, llego casi perfecto, lamentablemente una bolsa de tornillos estaba rota lo cual causo que el tornillo al estar libre rayara un poco una pieza del soporte, afortunadamente las dos tablas venian empacadas con mas unicel y no les paso nada.Lo BUENO: El escritorio es de buena calidad almenos las tablas, es bastante amplio y muy agradable a la vista, escogi la version en blanco y me gusta bastante, puedo poner un monitor ultra ancho de 34" y otro normal de 25" a parte tengo una gabinete grande de computadora y todavia me queda 1/4 del escritorio libre para lampara y cuadernos etc.Lo MALO: Lamentablemente los soportes de metal no son ultradurables como dice la publicacion, a la tercera armada se barrio la cuerda de una de las piezas de arriba ahora queda algo floja, pero no es muy notable, aconsejo armarlo ya en el sitio donde va a estar para no tener que desarmar y armar varias veces.Los Materiales:Los materiales de la base que es todo lo negro parece aluminio y son huecas lo cual lo hace bastante ligero esto hace que el escritorio no sea muy firme por ejemplo, yo soy de los que mueven el pie al estar sentado, si me recargo en el escritorio mientras muevo el pie el escritorio se mueve un poco lo cual es molesto. (el escritorio esta bien para genta adulta si tienen niños que esten cerca no lo recomiendo) Las piezas de aluminio parece como que se abollan facilmente, tambien la pintura es sensible a las rayaduras y se puede descarapelar como mencione al inicio un torinillo suelto descarapelo algunas partes.Las tablas se me hacen lo mejor del escritorio ojo estas tablas van tal cual se aprecia en la foto no las puedes intercambiar de posicion yo quise probar invertir la parte larga del escritorio para que quedar como una L invertida pero como abajo tienen orificios para atornillar a la base no se puede ya que los orificios quedarias arriba.Llevo 2 meses con el y a pesar de lo malo le pongo cuatro estrellas porque se me hizo un buen precio ($4015) y el escritorio es muy bonito y amplio, me gusta la tabla extra que tiene para poner el cpu aunque yo la uso mas bien para elevar mi segundo monitor, dejo las fotos por si alguien quiere checar como se ve ya con todo puesto y debo decir que las medidas que tiene en la publicacion son correctas 100%Excelente, fácil armado!
