I recently went back to school and laying in bed doing homework and studying was killing my back. I struggled when it came to picking a desk because of the reviews. I’m so glad I went with this desk.It was very easy to put together. It took me 2hours, but that’s because I was watching Netflix and kept stopping to look at the screen. It would’ve taken me probably 45mins if I wasn’t so hooked on the show. Directions were very easy and understandable. You will only need a phillips screwdriver. I also used the end of the screwdriver for the tiny nails.If the pictures posted in order, on the second picture there is some sort of mark on the top of desk. It wasn’t a big deal due to me wanting a cheap desk asap. Also, notice in the fourth picture that the back of this desk is not finished and I would not recommend this desk if you had to turn it in a way that the back was exposed.The two shelves and door were a bonus for me. I did want a desk with some sort of storage and this was perfect. The top holds up just great. My laptop fits on top along with my thick book and my notebook. I have enough of room to do what I purchased it for. It is sort of heavy which was surprising to me.I also got the chair & rug from Amazon and I’m very happy with those purchases as well. I checked the measurements and made sure the chair would be able to be pushed under the desk. Doing homework and study now is so much easier on my body and I’m not falling asleep.**PSA: YES it is cheap material and not real wood. It say’s that in the description and for their price what did you think you were getting? Ugh! I will only be using this desk to do homework and study which is what it’s purpose should be. It gets the job done and there is no complaining from me. ;-)
