I’d been having problems with my legs cramping up and general stiffness from sitting at my desk all day long. A friend of mine has a name-brand desk riser and swears by it, so I decided to try this product which looked sturdy (and had a better price point;). I ordered it on Sunday night and it was delivered the following Wed, intact, no missing nor damaged pieces. Assembly was quick and easy. Extremely sturdy! Been using it just shy a week and love it! Can now stretch out my legs and maintain proper posture while typing or videoconferencing. And I find that I have more energy, too. But now need a cushioned floor mat to stand on all day long! Also like that it’s made out of bamboo, a grass, so no trees where harmed (excepted for the cardboard box that it came in … which I recycled).It’s a very good product. I’m 5’0” and it was a bit too bulky for my comfort.I like that it is easy to assemble and has only very basic parts. It does the job for what I need it to do. Holds my laptop on the top shelf, my wireless keyboard and mouse on the second, and allows me to stand while I work. However, it is not wide enough for me to have a 2nd monitor with my 17" laptop. There is enough length with the shelf on the top setting, but because of the way the standing uprights protrude through the top, there is no way for it to fit. That is not as much of a concern for me as the fact that the top shelf is so unstable. It wiggles so much, that if you nudge the table, it rocks up and down. I have had to jam things in the shelf holds to try and make it more secure. The other frustrating piece is that it slips like crazy. I bought sticky cork pads to put on the bottom of the stand so that it doesn't slide across my workspace with the smallest nudge. It is light enough to lift, but if you are planning on going from sitting to standing often, it is a bit too cumbersome. It meets my needs for the couple of days a week I am working from home, but would not be great if I was using it 5-7 days a week.For the price of this, it is a very good option! Very easy to assemble, easy to get the shelves in and out when transitioning from standing to sitting. The top shelf wobbles slightly, but it is sturdy with the monitor on it. It is a great size, I don't have the room for a huge standing desk so very happy with the size of this.A couple suggestions for improvements: I do wish that there was one more notch to have the bottom shelf sit lower - I am 5 foot and feel like the keyboard is just slightly too high for me. I also wish the top shelf extended back further so I could have my screen further back, it is a bit too close to my face (again, because I am short I have to have the top shelf on a middle notch, someone taller wouldn't have as much of an issue since they angle back as you go up).Overall, I recommend this product, especially if you are taller than 5'!Being the cheapest standing desk on Amazon when I bought it, my expectations weren't through the roof.First, the good: sturdy, nice finish, light weight, allows me to stand up while I work from home :)Next, the not so good:There were no instructions. I was able to figure out how to put it together based on the pictures, but some validation of what I was doing would have been nice. Also, I have 4 leftover screws and I haven't the faintest clue where they go, ha!It doesn't fit me perfectly. It's a bit short for me (I'm 6'0") when on my desk, so I moved it to the kitchen counter and it works, more or less. With my monitor on the top shelf, the monitor itself pretty close to my face (I can touch it with my elbow bent). I wish either the bottom shelf came out towards me a bit more or the top shelf extended away from me further (6" would make a world of difference).So, in summary, do I regret my purchase? Not entirely, I think it'll help my posture/comfort while I'm working from home for the next few months. However, I think I could have made a (not as pretty but better suited for me) standing desk myself for less money using wood from the hardware store.I desperately needed a stand-up desk. I am working from home on 2 laptops. This desk does the job. It is pleasing to the eye and large enough for me to do work. I leave it up in my eat-in kitchen Monday - Friday and take it down on Friday evenings. It is easy to assemble and take apart. It came with instructions and tools for assembly. It arrived a day early from Amazon too.The only drawback is that the top shelf was a little wobbly. After I put the laptops on it, it was fine. I have no other complaints. Like I said, it does the job!A pretty good product, and very sturdy. Pretty easy to put together, although I had a little bit of a hard time getting the screws in. The standing height is perfect for me.However, the lowest shelf is still too high for my monitor when I’m sitting. I have to crane my neck a little bit. I ended up sliding the shelf to fit along the base of the stand, which I don’t think is technically a shelf, but it works for my purposes!Really easy to put together and has a stability piece you screw in so it is stable. Perfect height. I put the narrower shelf on top and larger on the middle so I could stand sometimes and sit sometimes. Its so nice!Je l’adore!
